Orange1 wind and hydroelectric generators

Thanks to Sicme Orange1, our group offers a special range of permanent magnet generators for renewable energy: since 2002 Sicme Orange1 has been one of the world’s largest producers of wind and hydroelectric power generators.

We can provide permanent magnet synchronous generators for wind or hydroelectric applications and plants, with Direct Drive technology that allows a direct implementation in the energy system without the need of additional components, gearboxes etc.

Orange1 generators for wind turbines are available from 10 kW to 3000 kW, with specific smaller models or customized high-power solutions. The Orange1 hydroelectric generators can be configured for connection via inverter or in direct coupling to the grid, with water or air cooling systems and a power range also from 10 kW to 3000 kW.

Thanks to our years of experience, Orange1 can replace standard induction generators with low efficiency (classes IE1, IE2 and IE3) with PMG generators super premium IE4.

Electric generators are used to produce clean energy by using alternative and renewable power sources, deriving from the force of wind and water.

A permanent magnet generator allows the direct connection with the hydroelectric or the wind turbine, to produce electricity without any gearboxes that can affect the performance.
