Orange1 Foundry is the Orange1 Holding division for the production of aluminum die casting parts: the company specializes in the entire aluminum die casting process, for the design and co-design of the mold and also for die casting with mechanical machining.

The Business Unit operates in 3 different plants located in Italy, Slovakia and Romania. We manufacture die cast aluminum components from 10 g to 10 kg with 7 different aluminum alloys for various sectors: pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, food, lighting and automotive.

The production of aluminum die casting parts is particularly specialized in the automotive field: we produce die cast components such as alternators, GPL-methane conversion systems, light-control modules, suspensions and supports for motors, shift levers, oil filters, pedals and other parts.

We use extremely advanced aluminum die casting technologies, providing high quality die-cast aluminum parts for several industrial applications.

Orange1 Foundry for aluminum die casting: details and overview

Aluminum die casting is a permanent foundry process where the molten metal is cast at high pressure in a mechanical mold. Thanks to the lightness, conductivity, strength, ductility, malleability and aesthetic properties of aluminum, these die-cast parts are better than other materials such as zinc, granite or stainless steel.

The aluminum die casting process in Orange1 Foundry starts from three metal casting furnaces in order to power up presses from 250 to 1600 tons. This is for a fast and perfect mould filling at high pressures.

Moulds are produced by Orange1 Foundry technical office in co-design with the customer. This is carried out with the best production technologies in order to optimize the resistance to pressure and thermal shocks. Orange1 Foundry aluminum die cast components offer a high degree of finishing and precision: an optimized production process tailored to the customer.
