The President of Orange1 Holding addresses industrial competitiveness, the protection of the European value chain and the decisions that led Orange1 Electric Motors to end its membership relationship with Confindustria Vicenza.

On 18 September, Orange1 Holding President Armando Donazzan published an open letter returning to the issues that have shaped the recent debate on the competitiveness of European manufacturing.

In the letter, Armando Donazzan refers back to the 7 September mobilisation in Brussels, when companies and representatives of European industry took part in the European Convoy for Industrial Competitiveness to call for fairer competitive conditions across the entire value chain.

The letter reiterates the need for a long-term European industrial policy capable of addressing issues such as energy, steel, new technologies and international competition, moving beyond temporary measures and fragmented responses.

The document also announces Orange1 Electric Motors’ decision to end its membership relationship with Confindustria Vicenza, linking this choice to consistency with the positions expressed by the Group in its recent initiatives in support of European industry.

The closing message is a call to action: according to Donazzan, this moment requires concrete choices from companies, associations and institutions to safeguard Europe’s manufacturing capacity and industrial competitiveness.
