Orange1, together with ESN, EUROMETAL and representatives of European industry, will take part in the Brussels mobilisation to call for fairer rules and stronger protection across the entire value chain.
On 7 September, Orange1 will be in Brussels together with its President Armando Donazzan, its employees, ESN – Electromechanics Synergy Network, EUROMETAL and hundreds of European entrepreneurs.
A concrete presence to bring a clear message to the heart of the European institutions: European manufacturing must regain its competitiveness.
In recent years, the gap with non-European competition has grown significantly. Before Covid, the price differential was around 10%; today it exceeds 60%. At the same time, since 2019 Europe has lost almost one million manufacturing jobs, while hundreds of workers continue to lose their jobs every day.
A clear sign that action is needed through measures capable of protecting the entire value chain, not just raw materials.
The request from European companies is clear: fairer competitive conditions, stronger protection across the entire supply chain and concrete action against non-European dumping.
We are not asking for money or subsidies. We are asking for fair rules that allow European industry to continue producing, investing and innovating in Europe, with a long-term vision.
On 7 September, in Brussels, we will be there.
